Best Locations for Photo Sessions in South Maui

Our favorite Locations in South Maui include Po’olenalena beach, White Rock and Maluaka Beach. Whilst we can come to your hotel property to shoot we generally prefer to shoot off property at one of the stunning South Maui beaches. This way we can escape the crowds and we can offer you a more authentic Maui experience.



Po’olenalena Beach is perfect for family portraits, couples, and elopements, offering diverse backgrounds, including woodlands, palm trees, lava rock, sunsets, and a secluded beach.



White Rock Beach is an ideal morning portrait spot with palm trees, ocean views, woods, and lava rocks. Suitable for families and small elopements, all ages welcome.



Maluaka Beach is perfect for evening family and couples photoshoots, featuring lush greenery, ocean views, sandy beach, lava rocks, and accessibility for all.

Po’olenalena Beach

Po’olenalena Beach is great for all occasions including family portraits for families of all sizes, couples photography and elopements.

It offers a diverse array of backdrops including woodlands, palm trees, lava rock, views out towards the west Maui mountains, distant islands and a large secluded beach.

Po’olenalena consistently has beautiful sunsets with dreamy Hawaiian skies. This location is great for people of all ages and mobility levels.

White Rock Beach

White Rock beach is one of our favorite morning portrait locations. It is somewhat lesser known and tends to have few visitors in the morning.

It offers a diverse array of backdrops including palm trees, ocean views towards the West Maui mountains, wooded and grassy areas as well as lava rocks.

This location is great for families small and large in the mornings and small elopements in the evenings. This location is great for people of all ages and mobility levels.

Maluaka Beach

Maluaka beach is a great location for evening photoshoots for family portraits and couples portraits.

It offers a lot more greenery than other South Maui locations as well as ocean views, a beautiful sandy beach, lava rocks and views down the South Maui coastline.
